(HU) 1979. június 2-a és 11-e között a frissen megválasztott lengyel pápa, II. János Pál hazalátogatott szülőhazájába. Varsóban a Győzelem (ma Piłsudski) téren mutatott be kb. 1,5‒2 millió résztvevő előtt szentmisét, továbbá ellátogatott az egyedüli magyar alapítású katolikus szerzetesrend, a pálosok kegyhelyére, Jasna Gorá-ba (Częstochowa), az auschwitz-i (Oświęcim) haláltáborba, a lengyel uralkodók volt koronázó városába, Gniezno-ba, valamint Krakkó kommunista rendszer által épített Nowa Huta nevű lakótelepére. Az ország lakosságának kb. egyharmada személyesen látta. A pápalátogatás jelentősen gyengítette a lengyel kommunista rezsim belföldi pozícióit.

(EN) Between June 2 and 11, 1979 the newly elected Polish pope, John Paul II returned to his homeland. In Victory Square (today Piłsudski Square) in Warsaw, he celebrated holy mass in front of 1.5-2 million participants and visited the shrine of the Pauline order (the only Catholic order to be founded by a Hungarian), Jasna Gora (in Częstochowa), the death camp at Auschwitz (Oświęcim), Gniezno, the coronation site of Polish monarchs and the Communist-buildt Nowa Huta district of Kraków. About one third of the Polish population saw him in person. The papal visit was a strong blow to the  domestic positions of the Polish communist regime.

(DE) Zwischen den 2-ten und 11-ten Juni 1979 kehrte der neu ausgewählte Papst, Johannes Paulus II. in seinem Heimatland zurück. Am Siegesplatz (heute Marschall-Józef-Piłsudski-Platz) in Warschau feierte er die heilige Messe mit 1,5-2 Millionen Teilnehmer. Außerdem besuchte er den Heiligenschrein des Pauliner Ordens (der einzige ungarisch gegründete katolische Orden) von Jasna Gora (in Częstochowa), den Vernichtungslager in Auschwitz (Oświęcim), den ehemaligen Krönungsort der polnischen Monarchen in Gniezno und den Kommunisten gebauten Bezirk Nowa Huta in Krakau. Etwa ein Drittel der Population sah ihn persönlich. Der Papstbesuch war ein heftiger Schlag auf die Positionen des kommunistischen Regimes in Polen.

(RO) Între 2 și 11 iunie 1979 suveranul pontif proaspăt ales de origine poloneză, Ioan Paul al II-lea s-a întors în țara natală. Papa a celebrat sfânta liturghie în Piața Victoriei (azi Piłsudski) din Varșovia în fața a 1,5-2 milioane de participanți. Totadată a vizitat locul de pelerinaj din Jasna Gora (în Częstochowa) a ordinului paulin, singurul ordin religios catolic înființat de un maghiar, lagărul de exterminare de la Auschwitz (Oświęcim), fostul loc de coronare a monarhilor polonezi de la Gniezno și districtul Nowa Huta din Cracovia, construit de comuniști. Circa o treime din populația țării l-a văzut în persoană. Vizita papală a fost o lovitură puternică pentru pozițile interne ale regimul comunist polonez.

(HU) 2020-ban emlékezünk Szent II. János Pál pápa születésének 100., halálának 15. évfordulójára. Ezt az évet a lengyel parlament II. János Pál-emlékévévé (Rok Świętego Jana Pawła II) nyilvánította. Ez alkalomból ezen a blogon május és június folyamán virtuális II János Pál-hónapot fogok tartani. Ez annyit jelenti, hogy május 1-től június 30-ig minden nap meg fogok osztani egy többnyelvű bejegyzést, amely a pápa valamely idézetét, mondását, prédikációjának részletét fogja tartalmazni.

(EN) In 2020, we commemorate the 100th anniversary of pope Saint John Paul II's birth, as well as the 15th anniversary of his decease. The Polish parliament established 2020 the Year of Saint John Paul II (Rok Świętego Jana Pawła II). On this occasion, I am launching the virtual John Paul II month during May and June. I am going to share on each and every day, from the 1st May until the 30th June a multilingual post which will contain a quote, a saying, a fragment of a sermon delivered by the pope.

(RO) În 2020 comemorăm centenarul nașterii papei Sfântul Ioan Paul al II-lea, precum și 15 ani de la trecerea lui în neființă. Parlamentul polonez a declarat 2020 anul Sfântului Ioan Paul al II-lea (Rok Świętego Jana Pawła II). Cu această ocazie, voi organiza virtual luna lui Ioan Paul al II-lea în mai și iunie. Între 1 mai și 30 iunie voi distribui în fiecare zi o postare multilingvă, care v-a conține un citat, o vorbă, un fragment dintr-o predică a papei.

(DE) Im Jahr 2020 gedenken wir an die hunderte Geburtsjubiläum des Papstes Seliger Johannes Paulus II, als auch die 15-te Wiederkehr seines Sterbstages. Der polnische Landtag ermittelte diesen Jahr als Jahr von Johannes Paulus II (Rok Świętego Jana Pawła II). Zu diesem Anlass, führe ich den virtuellen Monat von Johannes Paul II während Mai und Juni. Zwischen 1-sten Mai und den 30-sten Juni, wurde ich an jeden Tag einen Zitat, einen Spruch, einen Fragment einer Predigt des Papstes teilen.

Vizită la Centrul Ioan Paul al II-lea din Viena

Săptămâna trecută am vizitat Centrul Ioan Paul al II-lea (Zentrum Johannes Paulus II.) din Viena. Instituția se află în sectorul III, în Landstraße (în apropierea stației omonime de metrou) și se află de la începutul verii în curs de renovare. Centrul a fost înființat în anul 2011 și pe pagina oficială de internet (http://www.zentrum-johannes-paul-ii.at/) se găsește următoarea descriere: „Das Zentrum Johannes Paul II. ist ein Ort der Begegnung, des Austausches, des gemeinsamen Gebets und der Glaubensvertiefung.” (Centrul Ioan Paul al II-lea este locul întâlnirii, al schimbului, al rugăciunii comune și al adâncirii credinței.) Centrul este condus de părintele George Elsbett LC, care, din păcate, a fost plecat din Austria în ziua, în care am fost în această instituție.

La sosire am fost primit prietenos de părintele Joachim Richter LC, care slujește în Viena din 2015. Părintele Joachim se află în fruntea organizației de tineret ECyD (Experiences, Convictions and your Decisions, adică Experiențe, Convingeri și Deciziile tale) și dânsul a fost cel care mi-a arătat instituția.

Mărimea capelei urmează să fie dublată. În afară de asta, sistemul electric va fi schimbat și va exista posibilitatea de a urmări slujbele ținute în capelă pe internet.

Va fi o bucurie să mă întorc în Centrul renovat! :)
